At the beginning of 1800 we inhabited the planet with merely 1 billion people. That's not much of a problem for mother earth. But only 200 years later this number has multiplied by a factor 7 and I reckon the area with woods and rain-forests didn't multiply with that same factor. That leaves us with a immense amount of CO2 increase besides other sources. But hey...the shit's gonna hit the fan starting 2011, October. Elenin is her name!!! Followed by brown-dwarf star Niburu. Solar panels are a big think at the moment with a lot more people investing in to them which I think is great but still think that there is a lot more that can be developed in the way solar energy is harnessed. we will just have to see what the future brings. Solar power is a hot topic these days as more and more people are becoming eco-conscious. I found the main stumbling block is the cost of solar panels, as silicon solar cells are very expensive. Alternatively could it really be possible to build my own solar panel from damaged solar cells! those are comparatively cheap. I agree with your points.
